- 01
Museum island
A museum of the dam, of floods and of water tells the story of Russia’s maritime history. An expo building with conference halls, residents’ workshops and galleries completes it; together they form an island of their own in the water.
- 02
Sports park and innovation campus
On the eastern side nature becomes the dominant element, and the campus buildings follow an innovative functional scheme.
- 03
Canals
Perpendicular canals carry the motif of water, divide the area into plots and allow it to be developed in stages. Artificial lakes and canals tie the plan to the town-planning tradition of St. Petersburg.
- 04
Marina
A marina with boats and facilities on the water; its embankment is made for walks and for watching the sunset.
